The answer is…of course they do. You have certainly had interactions with the opposite sex, and how many times have you said something and you’ve seen this blank face in this person you’re talking to?

Of course. Children get tired of everything. And just because children get tired of parenting strategies doesn’t mean that parents shouldn’t have strategies for parenting these children.

And the answer to that question is no. And yes. With adolescents especially, the answer is no, that it should not affect our parenting style. With small children and adolescents, actually all the way through. It should not affect our parenting style. Not if we are focused on principles and if we are focused on the idea that we’re not just raising great kids.

I think that that watching movies with your children can be entertainment, but I think any type of entertainment can also be used to advance the course of wisdom, advanced of course of knowledge,  information. And I really believe that watching movies with your children can really provide a ton of conversation.

Well, that’s kind of a loaded question. You know, I could say ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to that and probably argue either side of it, but I’m going to give you a qualified ‘yes.’ I think that your children should be allowed to watch television, but you need to monitor what they’re watching.
