Have you ever made a mistake and continued digging the hole even deeper? Making it worse?
It’s okay! Accidents happen! And they can happen anytime.
You just need to realize that when you’re in too deep, the last thing you want to do is make a bad situation worse.
If you make a mistake, refocus. It won’t help anyone to keep shoveling.
Stop and take a look at what’s around you. What can you call for help? What are your resources?
These can be anything capable of assisting you.
Your friends and family are the best resources if you find yourself in too deep and can’t climb out. Coworkers too. They all want to throw you a rope!
No one wants to see you fail, but you have to ask for help when you need it.
Calling out for someone can often be the only thing we have left at our disposal.
Everyone needs help once in a while, so you shouldn’t feel humiliated when you phone a friend.
Today’s Peace of Wisdom can be found at the top of the holes we dig.
