Peace of Wisdom

Tenacity

By Andy Andrews

The essence of yourself, whether you think so or not…contains a spirit of tenacity.

Amelia Earhart once said “The most difficult thing is the decision to act. The rest is merely tenacity. The fears are paper tigers. You can do anything you decide to do.”

You might think, it’s really easy for a fearless pilot to say something so profound!

And you might be right, but the case still stands that while it does take a decision to act…its the determination to take that action that will propel a tenacious spirit into the skies!

Tenacity is almost a commitment to your surroundings…and those around you can sense it in you.

It’s a quality of both determination and persistence.

We’ve talked about persistence before, even perseverance…

But Tenacity is the indelible part of you that strives for resolution!

A tenacious person might reach for fame or fortune…they may even attempt the unknown.  Like flying across the Pacific ocean as Amelia Earhart did.  And even though she failed in that attempt, no one disagrees that her life–remembered even today—was a life fully flown.

To ensure a life without regrets, today’s Peace of Wisdom can be found in choosing a tenacious spirit.
