A wise man once said, “The person who removes a mountain begins by carrying away small stones”.
All too often we try to rush into the main part of a project only to be crushed by the daunting size of the task. Since we can’t “move the mountain” in one push, we don’t attempt to move it all.
Begin by picking a piece of the project that contributes to the greater goal. Instead of everything all at once, take it day by day and project by project, while planning for the long haul and looking to the future.
Have faith, work consistently, and know that your longed for outcome will be accomplished.
Remember that most times, it won’t happen overnight so “small stones” are key. Don’t allow small stones to discourage you and don’t think of their removal as mundane. Small stones add up and compound over time.
Whether it is debt, starting a business, or a family issue…know that your mountain will soon be moved.
