Peace of Wisdom

Inner Calm

By Andy Andrews

In our busy world, peace can feel like a distant dream. We chase it, believing it’s somewhere out there, waiting to be discovered. But what if peace isn’t a destination, and instead, just a daily choice we make?

Peace isn’t the absence of trouble. It’s calm in the middle of life’s chaos. It’s choosing to take a deep breath when stress arises. It’s letting go of what we cannot control.

Think of peace as a muscle—the more you use it, the stronger it gets. Start small. Find a few moments every day to just pause, be still, and reflect–whether it’s during your morning coffee or while you’re waiting in line at the store.

Notice the little things: the warm sun on your face or the sound of leaves rustling in the wind. These simple moments offer opportunities to pause and give thanks.

When worry threatens to take over, focus on something you’re grateful for. Gratitude can effectively kick negative thoughts to the curb.

Remember, peace isn’t about having a perfect life. It’s about finding beauty and balance in the life you have.

Today’s Peace of Wisdom can be found by discovering quiet strength.
