Routine

Sometimes we associate routines with boredom. 

It can sound daunting to do the same thing day in and day out, but having non-negotiable tasks in our daily routine helps us feel stable and efficient. 

Having a routine can incite freedom and open up pockets of quality time. 

You don’t have to plan every minute of every day, but identify the most important things you have to do. 

Take your morning routine as an example. Let’s say each morning you have to wake up, get dressed, brush your teeth, and make coffee. 

After sticking to this routine for some time, it’s likely you’ll become faster at it, in turn, creating free time! 

If you magically had an extra fifteen minutes every morning, what would you do? 

Yoga, read, journal, pray? 

When you know exactly what you have to finish, it’s easier to see where you have spare time or an opportunity to do something spontaneous. 

Don’t forget to incorporate things that bring joy into your routine. Buy a new coffee creamer, splurge on an electric toothbrush, eat in that new restaurant. 

Today’s Peace of Wisdom can be found in using routine to stay grounded, increase productivity, and invite joy into your daily life.
