Well, I remember my parents, of course, I remember a lot about my parents, but my parents died, when I was 19. My mom died of cancer. My dad was killed in a car accident. And when you’re 19, there’s not a lot of things you think about as far as somebody may die or gathering things that you want to remember. And so I have ended up in my life with not much of my parents things.

What are the benefits of having a plan? How about your entire life and their entire life? How’s that for two big benefits? You would not believe how many times I have seen parents who had in mind a successful method of transition from paying for some things into paying for nothing like you would for any other adult.
Does having too much money (or not enough) affect parenting style?
And the answer to that question is no. And yes. With adolescents especially, the answer is no, that it should not affect our parenting style. With small children and adolescents, actually all the way through. It should not affect our parenting style. Not if we are focused on principles and if we are focused on the idea that we’re not just raising great kids.
