Peace of Wisdom
First Impressions

By Andy Andrews

You’ve no doubt heard the expression – one never gets a second chance to make a first impression. How we present ourselves to others matters a great deal.

Do you want people to feel drawn to you the minute you meet?

Do you want to attract more opportunities … make new friends … and be an encouragement to everyone you meet?

Try smiling while you talk! Works every time.

I don’t mean smile, and then talk…I mean smile and talk – at the same time.

It’s a learned skill, so you’ll have to practice. But if you do, I promise you’ll become a natural.

Take about a minute and a half every day and practice in front of a mirror – raise your eyebrows, stand up straight, square your shoulders, speak like you mean it, nod your head while you talk, and turn the corners of your mouth upward.  Eventually, smiling while you talk will become a habit!

A smile conveys confidence, peace, kindness, compassion, it’s encouraging … and above all, it conveys a merry heart.

Try it. I dare you!

Today’s Peace of Wisdom can be found in smiling while you talk!
