Actually, yes, there are several great questions you can ask when you’re working with a new company. And one of those questions I believe is, “When you’re looking in your area of expertise?”
There’s a lot of people who are hugely skilled and hugely talented that can make a great livings. Let me ask you this. You asked, “Why can’t you get a job?” It could be your degree.
Not to be a smart-aleck right off the bat…but how do you get a raise at your job? You need to be worth it. Maybe I should say—obviously worth it. You want to create massive value. You want to think like the owner.
I am leery of the cliche value of “thinking outside the box”. I think it has been said so much that everybody knows what it means, but nobody really thinks about it in successful terms anymore.
